PORTLAND, Ore. – Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meet, hosted by Northwest Nazarene University, returns to the Jacksons Indoor Center at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho on Fri., Feb. 19 and Sat., Feb. 20.

A $1 discount on tickets is available by purchasing in advance on the GNAC’s purchase page on EventBrite.com. Advanced tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors (65 and older) and students. Children under 12 are admitted for free.

Tickets purchased at the door are $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students. Tickets will be available for purchase on-site on Fri., Feb. 19, from noon to 7 p.m., and on Sat., Feb. 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships return to the Jacksons Indoor Center for the 14th consecutive year and features some of the top collegiate track and field athletes in the Northwest. Events on Fri., Feb. 19, begin at 9 a.m. with the combined events. The running events begin at 2:15 p.m., with the women’s pentathlon 800 meters. Field events commence at 3:30 p.m. with the men’s weight throw. Finals will be held in the men’s and women’s weight throw, men’s and women’s high jump, women’s pole vault, women’s high jump, men’s and women’s 5,000 meters and the men’s and women’s distance medley relay.

Saturday’s session begins with the men’s heptathlon at 8:45 a.m. Field events begin at 10 a.m., with the men’s shot put and high jump.  Running events commence at 11:20 a.m., with the men’s heptathlon 1,000 meters. All events on Saturday are finals.
