PORTLAND, Ore. - Montana State University Billings and Seattle Pacific University are among the teams on the Women's Basketball Association Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2013-14 season.
MSUB earned a No. 6 ranking in Division II posting a 3.656 GPA for the academic year. Upper Iowa University finished first with a 3.801 GPA.
Seattle Pacific earned a No. 15 rank posting a 3.572 GPA.
The Yellowjackets and Falcons were the only NCAA Division II West Region teams to earn a Top 25 ranking.
MSUB qualified for the WBCA Top 25 Academic list for the seventh year in a row. Last year the Yellowjackets were ranked 10th.
On the court MSUB compiled a 25-8 record, winning the GNAC regular-season title. The Yellowjackets advanced to the NCAA West Regionals as the No. 2 seed before losing to top-seed Cal Poly Pomona in the championship game.
Seattle Pacific finished its season with a 18-9 record, including 11-7 in the GNAC.
