PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior Delphine Maurer of Western Washington and Rosie Fordham of Alaska Fairbanks headlined the 2024 Great Northwest Athletic Conference cross country academic all-conference teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College.

Maurer and Fordham were the lone women’s seniors to post GNAC-leading 4.0 grade point averages and to be three-time selections. The duo was among 10 GNAC women’s cross country runners to earn the honor for at least the third time in their careers. Overall 57 women’s runners and 51 men’s runners garnered cross country academic all-conference honors for a total of 108 across the conference.

Earning the honor for the fourth time on the women’s side were UAF senior Kendall Kramer, SPU senior Annika Esvelt, Northwest Nazarene senior Olivia Blum, Simon Fraser senior Ella Marion and Western Washington senior Mia Crocker. On the men’s side, Western Oregon senior Dustyn McKenney and Western Washington seniors Jeret Gillingham, Jalen Javurek and Kevin McDermott were each fourth-time selections.

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the course during the 2024 campaign.
