PORTLAND, Ore. – With the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer season in full swing, 57 student-athletes were recognized on Wednesday for their work in the classroom as the academic all-conference team presented by Barnes & Noble College was released.
Among the top scholars within GNAC men’s soccer,
Erick Tornquist, a junior for Saint Martin’s, had the top grade point average at 4.00 while studying civil engineering. The list featured eight seniors who received all-academic recognition for the third time in their careers, and 15 players to earn the honor for the second time. Saint Martin’s led the group with 14 all-academic selections.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the field during the 2025 campaign.
