PORTLAND, Ore. – A total of 112 cross country runners earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference academic all-conference presented by Barnes & Noble College for the 2025 fall season announced on Wednesday.

Among the group were 60 women’s selections and 52 men’s selections, 20 student-athletes who earned the honor for the third time, 31 for the second time and 61 first-time honorees. Western Washington led the group with 23 selections, while Northwest Nazarene had 14 while both Alaska Anchorage and Alaska had 13 selections.

Central Washington sophomore Ethan Moore, who is majoring in applied mathematics, carried the highest GPA among the men’s selections as he was the lone runner to maintain a spotless 4.0 grade point average. Seven runners on the women’s side posted 4.0 GPAs, including UAA’s Lilli Marie Lindner (Sr., mechanical engineering) and Alexandra Otto (So., international studies), Central Washington’s Payton Conover (So., undeclared), Saint Martin’s Taylor Ames (So., communications) and Mira Jayarama (Gr., counseling), Seattle Pacific’s Lucia Templeton (So., nursing) and Western Oregon’s Charlotte Gardner (So., biology).

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the course during the 2025 campaign.
