INDIANAPOLIS – After an epic, double-overtime battle in Saturday’s Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Championships title game, both Western Oregon and Seattle Pacific are headed to the national tournament as the NCAA announced the men’s soccer field on Monday.
The Falcons (12-4-4) drew the No. 5 seed and will square off against No. 4 seed Midwestern State on Saturday at 1 p.m. (Pacific). Western Oregon (11-4-4) meanwhile grabbed the No. 8 seed and will have a first-round match against No. 9 seed Hawaii Hilo on Friday at 3 p.m. (Pacific). Both games will be played in Turlock, Calif., with Stanislaus State earning the region’s No. 1 overall seed and hosting rights.
The Wolves and Falcons tied for the 2025 GNAC regular-season title, each posting a record of 6-2-2 during conference play to end up square with 20 points apiece. The Falcons beat Western Washington 5-3 in the semifinal match of the conference tournament, before the Wolves prevailed 2-1 in come-from-behind fashion in the championship title match. It was the first-ever GNAC Men’s Soccer Championships tournament, and the win earned Western Oregon an automatic berth into the regional.
Seattle Pacific will be making its eighth national tournament appearance since the GNAC was founded and its first since the 2021 campaign. The Falcons are 2-5-2 all-time in the super regional round of the tournament. Western Oregon, in its fourth season of existence as a program, will be making its second regional appearance after going 1-1 in its debut last fall.
Live coverage for all matches will be available via the men’s soccer schedule page on
