PORTLAND, Ore. – Eight Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball players took home All-America recognition for the 2025 season, with the teams unveiled on Thursday.
GNAC Player of the Year
Devyn Oestreich of Western Washington led the way, earning American Volleyball Coaches Association second-team All-America. Seven other GNAC players landed on the AVCA honorable mention All-America list.

Oestreich picked up her first-career All-America accolade, after leading the GNAC with 3.87 kills per set and 0.48 aces per set, while ranking 10th in the league with 3.81 digs per set. She totaled 18 double-doubles during the regular season, helping lead the Vikings to a 13-5 conference record and a regional playoff berth. Oestreich’s teammate
Delaney Speer was an honorable mention selection, posting similarly impressive all-around numbers. Speer ranked fourth in the conference with 3.58 kills per set and was 13th with 3.43 digs per set. She posted 15 double-doubles including a 28-dig, 20-kill performance against Seattle Pacific on Oct. 23.
Simon Fraser landed a pair of players on the honorable mention list, including senior outside hitter
Natalie Lemoine-Sells and GNAC Setter of the Year
Eva Person. Lemoine Sells was sixth in the conference with 3.31 kills per set while ranking 10th in the league with an attack percentage of .258. Person ranked third in the conference with 8.79 assists per set and facilitating the Red Leafs’ conference-leading offense at 17.74 points per set.
Leading Central Washington to a share of the regular-season title and back to the NCAA playoffs was honorable mention selection
Scottie Ellsworth. The senior outside hitter averaged 2.86 kills per set while ranking eighth in the league with an attack percentage of .283. Ellsworth also put up 0.98 blocks per set to help lead the Wildcats to a record of 19-8 overall and 14-4 in conference matches. It marks the first-ever all-region selection for Ellsworth.
For the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage, senior outside hitter
Tia Allen earned honorable mention selection. Allen ranked eighth in the conference with 3.24 kills per set while adding 3.32 digs per set. That put her ninth overall in points per set with 3.69. Allen helped the Seawolves to 23-6 overall and earn a share of the league title at 14-4 in conference play.
For the Alaska Nanooks, junior libero
Tessa Onaga and senior outside hitter
Mikala Henderson each garnered honorable mention from the AVCA. Onaga ranked third in the GNAC with 4.52 digs per set, on her way to being recognized as the first-team all-conference libero this fall. She was also on the D2CCA second-team all-region list. Henderson made a big impact in her first season at Alaska, averaging 2.84 kills per set and a total of 3.16 points per set on the season. The Nanooks’ record of 24-6 overall was tops in the GNAC, and they tied for a share of the league title at 14-4 in conference play.
The AVCA All-America team is voted on by NCAA Division II coaches, and the D2CCA All-America team is voted on by Division II sports information directors.
