PORTLAND, Ore. – A select group of 20 Great Northwest Athletic Conference women’s golfers earned academic all-conference presented by Barnes & Noble College for the 2024-25 season announced on Friday.
A quartet of players earned the honor for the third time in their careers, as seniors from three different schools joined that exclusive list. Northwest Nazarene’s
Christine Cho, who posted a 3.62 grade point average in accounting, and
Brianna Shervik, who held a 3.59 GPA in management, gave the Nighthawks two of the four third-year selections. The other two were
Meilyn Armstrong of Montana State Billings, who had a 3.78 GPA in management, and
Hannah White of Saint Martin’s, who posted a 3.76 GPA in secondary education.
Saint Martin’s led the group of GNAC schools with six total selections to the all-academic team, with four of the Saints’ selections being repeat winners. The Saints’
Abigail Roll posted the highest GPA among the women’s golf selections with a perfect 4.0 in history.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed during the 2024-25 campaign.
