COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s golf programs are headed to the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, upon the arrival of the 2025 GNAC Men’s Golf Championships.

Reigning champion Western Washington will look to add to its conference record 11 team titles, as the Vikings made the historic plunge into Lake Coeur d’Alene last year with a team score of 838 (273-287-278). The three-round total was one stroke off the tournament record of 837 (set by Simon Fraser in 2015 and matched by WWU in 2016), and the Vikings broke the team single-round record with a 273 in Round 1 last year. WWU’s Ryan Ho broke the tournament single-round record last year with a 9-under-par 62 in the opening round as well.

Standing in the way of the Vikings and a repeat title will be a Simon Fraser team that enters the event as the highest ranked unit in the conference this season. SFU has won three GNAC Championships team titles, with the most recent crown coming two years ago in 2023.

With the graduation of last year’s champion, Michael Crisologo of Simon Fraser, the GNAC Championships will have its 17th individual champion in its 17th season of existence this year. No player has ever won more than one individual title.
