PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference unveiled its new logo on Monday along with a branding and style guide the conference will implement immediately.

A staple member of NCAA Division II since the fall of 2001, the GNAC will be celebrating its 25th season of competition in 2025-26 and for the first time will have a new primary mark. The previous GNAC logo was introduced in 2001 when the conference was founded and has represented the league’s identity for the last quarter century.

The refreshed logo captures the essence of the conference, featuring geographic elements synonymous with the league’s broad footprint across the Western United States and Canada. The six pine trees represent the five states and one Canadian province where the GNAC’s core members are located, with a mountain range in the background and a winding river connecting the elements centrally. The new logo maintains the league’s longtime primary colors of blue and green, in congruence with the region’s Pacific Ocean and expansive national parks and forests.
