PORTLAND, Ore. – The top women’s soccer student-athletes were recognized on Wednesday as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its 2026 all-academic team featuring 95 players.
Among the selections were 15 players receiving the honor for the third time in their careers. Seniors
Andie Buckley (engineering) and
Ashlyn Valdovinos (nursing) from Seattle Pacific held the highest GPAs among the third-year selections each boasting a 3.99. A group of eight sophomores who earned the honor for their first time tied for the highest GPA in the conference at 4.00. That included Central Washington’s
Haley Engstrom (sport management),
Olivia Fast (English),
Taylor Mills (clinical physiology),
Jaylee Reynolds (sport management) and
Sadie Schaefer (actuarial science), Montana State Billings’
Peyton Tarabokija (health/human performance) and
Natalie Weinmaster (health/human performance) and Northwest Nazarene’s
Keira Dwinell (chemistry).
Central Washington had the most all-academic selections among the eight GNAC women’s soccer teams with 19 total, while Northwest Nazarene followed a close second with 18 players on the list. To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the field during the 2026 campaign.
